The HP-DMH series dry material preheater adopts multiple patented technologies for heat transfer enhancement, which can achieve fast and efficient mixing and preheating of dry materials.

Raising the dry material temperature can keep the temperature of the added pitch constant, reduce viscosity, decrease surface tension, and thus reduce the surface wetting angle of the aggregate and powder, which is beneficial for the formation of adsorption films on the surface of the aggregate and powder.

On the one hand, after completing the batching process, the aggregate needs to be transported to a heating device for preheating to ensure that there is a certain temperature when the aggregate and binder are mixed, which facilitates the penetration of pitch into the pores of the aggregate and is more conducive to the filling and surface coverage of the aggregate particles by pitch, thereby improving the density and plasticity of the paste.

On the other hand, pitch is a lipophilic and hydrophobic substance, and the moisture film will significantly reduce the wetting effect of pitch on aggregate particles. Therefore, preheating can eliminate the moisture in the aggregate and improve the bulk density of carbon products.
