Report informs. Azeraluminium LLC, owned by Azerbaijan Industrial Corporation, has ended the open tender to purchase 20,000 tons of baked anode carbon blocks.
The winner of the tender is China’s Sunstone Development Co.

Sunstone development is the spokesperson for the green and low-carbon development of China’s prebaked anode industry, and also a long-term strategic partner of Hwapeng. It has cooperated with Hwapeng for more than 10years and witnessed the development journey of each other in their respective fields.
The Hwapeng equipment used by Sunstone includes: HP-DMH Series Dry Material Preheater, HP-CPK Series Carbon Paste Kneader, HP-EVC Series Four Guiding Column Vacuum Pressing Vibrocompactor, and CV-AIV+CS Series Artificial Intelligent Robotic Cleaning System of Baked Anodes.
When we came to the production process monitoring center of Sunstone, 15 electronic screens clearly displayed the images of all parts of the plant, more than 100 cameras and countless sensors, which transmitted and controlled the operation of each point in real time, and “real-time tracking” was carried out by “thousand mile eyes” and “smart sentinel”.
When you come to the molding workshop of Sunstone, the forming machine rumbles, and the batching, weighing and kneading are fully automatic and unattended; In the roasting workshop, four multi-functional overhead travelling cranes operate with sirens. Loading, laying, sucking and discharging are all completed by the multi-functional overhead travelling crane; On the automatic production line of finished product packaging, ABB’s mechanical arms flexibly rotate to make steel strips, install skids and pack the exported prebaked anodes.
In front of the finished product warehouse of Shandong Linyi production center of Sunstone, there are 9 large trailers parked. The forklift is busy loading. Every seven minutes, a trailer with a full load of 33 tons will drive out of the building area and send it to the distant place. Guo Kai, director of the warehouse, said that 60 vehicles were expected to be loaded on that day, with a total shipment of 2000 tons, all of which were used for export. It is understood that the products of the base are mainly exported to dozens of countries and regions such as Russia, Malaysia, the Netherlands, Germany and Azeraluminium LLC, and the export volume accounts for about one third of the total export volume of China.
