Evion Group Has Signed a Cooperation Agreement with Urbix, a US Negative Electrode Material Developer

Evion Group has signed a cooperation agreement with Urbix, a US negative electrode material developer, to evaluate the feasibility of building a plant to provide BAM in Europe. Under the agreement, the parties will explore potential site options and conduct a comprehensive feasibility study to assess the financial, technical and logistical aspects of establishing a Battery Anode Material (BAM) plant in Europe.

Evion Group has signed a coope1

Evion’s Maniry graphite concentrate project in Madagascar will provide feedstock for the plant, which could support some of its capacity. In the United States, Urbix is actively developing a plant in Arizona that will open in 2025 and serve as a template for rapid deployment of additional facilities in the United States and Europe to replace BAM in one country.

Urbix is currently developing a superior, sustainable carbon and graphite products processing technology and its products are in advanced testing and validation with major battery manufacturers.

The carbon and graphite Products produced by the HP-EVC1500 Airbag Pressurization Vacuum Vibration Forming System of Shandong Hwapeng Precision Machinery Co., Ltd. is an important production of negative electrode materials for new energy vehicle power batteries. The equipment has uniform paste distribution, reliable vacuum, airbag damping, airbag pressurization, high efficient high strength homogenizing vacuum vibration forming method etc. With strong technical force, advanced manufacturing technology, modern production equipment, perfect testing equipment and scientific testing method, to ensure a high level of product quality and stability.
