This refinery will be the second alumina refinery of Indian Aluminum Corporation in the Rayagada region of the state of Orissa.

Mr. Patnaik attended the groundbreaking ceremony on a virtual platform and said that these projects are not only an industrial milestone, but also an important attempt to explore the potential of our country's natural resources.

The annual production capacity of Aditya alumina refinery is 2 million tons, involving an investment of 80 billion rupees. Hindalo has signed a long-term agreement with Orissa Mining Company to provide bauxite for this new refinery.
