On 27 April 2023, Sunstone Development released the full text of its 2022 annual report. The report shows that in 2022, Sunstone Development achieved a revenue of 19.401 billion yuan, a year-on-year growth of 105.12%; Net profit of 1.175 billion yuan, up 53.94% year on year; Net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies reached 905 million yuan, up 45.98% year on year; Basic earnings per share was 1.97 yuan; The average return on equity (ROE) was 18.53%.
By the end of the report period, the net assets of the company were 7.311 billion yuan, an increase of 36.24% compared with the same period last year, and the asset-liability ratio was 57.87%. The net cash flow generated by operating activities, investment activities and financing activities was -342 million yuan, -1.602 billion yuan and 2.451 billion yuan, respectively, with a year-on-year increase of 71.34%, a decrease of 113.76% and an increase of 16.10%.
Data shows that the main business of Sunstone Development is the research and development, production and sales of pre-baked anode. As the largest independent prebaking anode supplier in China, Sunstone Development currently has seven factories in five production bases in Dezhou, Binzhou, Jiayuguan, Qijiang and Qujing. The company mainly produces green energy-saving prebaked anode with low consumption and high current density. Currently, the production capacity is 2.52 million tons, with 300,000 tons under construction. The products are exported to more than a dozen countries in Europe, the United States, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Oceania and Africa.
