According to the news conference held by the State Administration of Immigration on the same day, in the second quarter of 2022, the State Administration of Immigration inspected 32.293 million people entering and leaving the country, an increase of 5.64% on a monthly basis: 214000 ordinary passports were issued, an increase of 41.8% on a monthly basis; 1.063 million (pieces) of entry and exit training certificates were issued to and from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, a decrease of 19.1% on a monthly basis; 140000 letters and residence certificates were handled for foreigners in China, an increase of 49.9% on a monthly basis.
